The UAE is a growing regional centre for arbitration services and is an increasingly attractive option after the UAE became a signatory to the the New York Convention on Arbitral Awards 1958. Our firm has an active docket of arbitration disputes in both the Dubai International Arbitration Centre (DIAC) and the Abu Dhabi Commercial Conciliation and Arbitration Centre (ADCCAC). We represent clients on a range of matters including commercial, real estate and contracting disputes. We have also been involved in disputes under the ICC Rules of Arbitration. We can represent clients in both English and Arabic arbitral proceedings

In addition, our lawyers can serve as arbitrators. Samir Kanaan is a registered arbitrator with the DIAC, the GCC Arbitration Centre, the American Arbitration Association and other international arbitration associations.

Finally, because of our strong litigation practice, we are also able to enforce the awards locally. As a result, we can provide a range of arbitration services from the commencement of an action to the enforcement of the arbitral award.
